Our values

Equality and diversity

At Grayling, we believe diversity is strength. We’re actively working to recruit, retain and promote a diverse range of voices and perspectives, to help us create the best work.
Our Advantage for All taskforce is a team of passionate colleagues, headed by our CEO and Managing Director, working to help us attract the best talent and foster a welcoming and inclusive culture. From our schools outreach programme, Taylor Bennett partnership and apprenticeship scheme, to celebrating different cultural festivals, Pride and Women in PR, we’re constantly striving to reach and include everyone who has the talent and potential to work with us.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing of staff at Grayling is paramount and we take our responsibility seriously to create and maintain a positive working environment. We provide company-wide initiatives that encourage healthy behaviours and positive wellbeing. We also raise awareness of mental health to remove any stigma attached to it and make sure that every employee receives the support they need.

Professional and personal development

We foster an environment where staff are encouraged to progress at a pace or direction which suits them and reflects their ambitions. We encourage all staff to have an individual personal development plan, inspiring mentor, clear personal objectives and to attend training courses applicable to their goals.

Internship programmes

Our Internship Programme gives entry level candidates an opportunity to gain experience in our industry, from media relations to public affairs, social media management to strategy development. We fully integrate our interns into our account teams, with direct client interaction and the opportunity to contribute to the decision-making and execution process. Many interns go on to continue their careers at Grayling, and all leave with a solid foundation in our industry, prepared for long-term success.

Giving back

Our Grayling for Good initiative sees our teams around the world making a great effort to raise money and increase awareness of causes that matter to them in their local communities. Our aim is to put something back into the communities we serve and is rooted in the belief that our combined effort makes us better able to achieve great things.

Grayling social

At Grayling we care about connecting to others. We work together to build strong relationships that go beyond the day to day job. Whether it's a team lunch, annual Christmas and Summer party or karaoke night, we're a social bunch and enjoy getting together.
